Weight room workout 1
http://youtu.be/mtoeAYZo1Pg This is the link to the workout I will be doing today, so today I want to work on my biceps and back. I will be using beginner for this just because I'm starting off slow. I need to work on my strength in the bicep area. Hopefully this will be a good start in getting stronger.

Beep Test - 11.1
T Test - 10.68 seconds
Vertical Test - 55 cm
Push Up Test - 28
Balance Test - 9
Flexiblity Test - 3
As the year continues I hope to improve with my results, over the summer I kept my fitness level well. But I think growing has an effect with these results.

Final Post
Compared from the beginning of the year to now I am really surprised how far I have gotten. To start things off with the beep test. In my first beep test I got a record of 10.4, and now from my last beep test I got a new record of 12.10! I was really surprised how far my body can go. I plan next year to go over 13, hopefully by staying fit I will reach my goal.
I also got back into a basketball program called "Basketball BC". We played at a tournament with a team who had 3 guys who were 6"3! It was a good tournament, but we lost 1 game out of 4. I was really hyped to be back, and especially the training with lots of running.
For one P.E. class we had to play a game of "hide and seek". It was a huge game with a couple of people it, and the hiding spots were endless. At one point I was basically running through branches leaving my friends behind. This does have consequences, but I think it was worth it, while having fun and being active.
Now to close this up, I now realized that P.E. is more about running around and doing a bunch if laps. Its about learning about what can you do and your capabilities, whatever fitness level you are at you will learn your capabilities and understand them. While at the same time you are improving them. Also over the summer I will stick to my new motto, "curls for the girls".

Learning how to work out
So P.E. today was very interesting, our class had to join mr. Peterson's grade 12 class and pick a grade 12 buddy. So my buddy was Thomas and when we went to the weight room I used the dumbbells. He said that anything with curls will help your biceps, along with a motto "Curls for Girls". He tought me how to use it properly. I actually learned something new today, and I also want to continue using dumbbells.

Active Learning Interm Nathan Borbe 2
So far since last semester I have been keeping my word in drinking a healthy drink in the previous semester and now since spring league has begun I now came back into the basketball fitness. I now also tried a new diet, eating lots more in order to get bigger I will post pictures on how much I ate along with the healthy drink and the spring league. One of my accomplishments is beating my old time in the community run with a 15.25.So as a result I think I deserve an A.

Digital Evidence Post
So far my progress is very interesting within these three past days, ever since the basketball season was over I have noticed I have been more lazy and less active, though I do notice that my eating habits are improving dramatically, my parents started with a new plan in my family, and that is eating more healthy, everyday my mom or dad would give my brothers and I a veggie drink even though it does not taste good we still have to drink it. When it comes to eating we would increase in veggies and decease in fat. Also my family and I do the newspaper route for money for me alone it would take about 1 hour to do. Every friday I would go to the YMCA and play basketball all night. So this is my progress so far, hopefully I get more active.

Active Learning Reflection Nathan Borbe
Sa
I believe I have participated in all activities the best I can on those days, I try to make a good sweat after each P.E. class, which I usually do. Especially after fitness, it would look like I took a shower. For my best effort I think I did was the hill run, on that day I was really ready to work. I would never cheat through the courses, sometimes I see people do. I think it would never help, because whatever you do now, it would foreshadow the type of person you will be in the future. The day I would have struggle with the most is when we had to do the beep test. On theses days I know I can do better and go further, to have that feeling really kills me.
I try to encourage my friends/classmate to make them successful, simple things like high fives or making them work harder by challenging them who can do more. I think I come with a positive sometimes shy attitude. I am comfortable in P.E. because Mr.Neufeld always tells funny jokes, being comfortable in class can help me work harder in P.E. When I'm with my classmates I would talk to them trying to be friendly.
In fitness days, I surprisingly like it. Its like a new challenge for the day, I also like that feeling when your just drenched in sweat and give everything, it gives me a sense of accomplishment and that at the end of the day I will become stronger. I try to have this feeling every fitness day. My favourite fitness activity would be the circuit, because its a constant rotation and a series of mini activities, you can go at your own pace heading to the next activity. This I find very fun. My fitness goals are being faster and stronger. Mostly in strength, because I have very skinny arms, hopefully that would change by the end of the year.
Leadership to me, means someone that has experience and has the courage to step up. At the same time not being bossy, because leadership and a know it all are two different things. The type of people with these type of quantities are the grade 9ers. They already been there before so they know what they are talking about. So they are very experienced and had grade 8 P.E. So that gives me a sense of trust and I should listen to them.
I think the letter grade I deserve based on my effort would be an A. I hope you would agree with my grade as well. Thank you.
